About the event
Its that time of year again....join us for our 9th Annual Kate's Bait Ice Fishing Derby. Where: Register at Kate's Bait and fish ANYWHERE YOU WANT within the designated fishing time: 6AM-1PM January 21st. Registration will be open the day of the event at Kate's Bait at 4:30AM. You can pre-register for the event and start fishing at 6AM but you MUST be weighted in at Kate's Bait no later than 1PM to qualify for fish prizes.
Categories: Pan Fishing Contest is ran in 1-2 Person Teams: "Most" Panfish (Best stringer of 10 Crappies/Bluegill/Perch), Largest of each- Crappie, Bluegill, Perch & Smallest fish of the day. Weigh-in your stringer at Kate's Bait.
Memory Maker Award: Largest Bass, Walleye & Northern. Each team will be assigned a team number which they will receive at registration the day of or by text at 6AM the day of the event. When you catch…
